Application form of JEE Main Exam is available now on its official website. As you know, CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education) is going to conduct this exam. JEE (Joint Entrance Examination) Main has its dual function. Students opting to take admission in the Engineering colleges should take this exam as a Merit Exam and should try to get higher ranks for getting admission in top engineering colleges. While students opting to get admission in the IITs should take this exam as a qualifying exam for appearing in the Advanced Test. Advanced test will be conducted by the independent bodies of IITs.
Only 1,50,000 top scorers in the JEE Main exam will be eligible for appearing in the Advanced test. Students opting to take admission in NIT and IIIT should try to get better ranks in JEE Main exam because admission in those colleges will take place based on obtained rank in this exam.

- Go to the address bar and type jeemain.nic.in. You will reach to the official site of JEE Main
- Select the option of filling Application form and you will be guided to the respective page. You can directly reach to that page by clicking on the link given below this article.
- Before filling application form you should have the marks sheet of previously appeared exams and demand draft, in order to provide relevant information in the application form.
- Information once submitted cannot be changed later. So fill the form carefully.
- Multiple submission of Application form can result into rejection of your candidature
- You can deposit fee for this exam either through credit or debit cards or via demand draft. Additional fee will be charged including service tax when you will pay the examination fee through credit or debit cards
- Demand draft should be sent in the favour of Secretary, CBSE, payable at Delhi
- After completing the Application form and payment details, confirmation slip will appear. Take a print out of this page, paste your recent photograph and put signature of yourself and your parents in the required box and send it to the office of JEE Main Exam through a registered post on or before 26 December 2012.
